Eli Richey

Eli Richey is a Freshman at Flushing High School and is a member of the Flushing High School Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Marching Band under the direction of Brad Davis and Eric Fontan. He has studied under the likes of Jeffrey Price and Tyler Young. He has participated in the MSBOA Middle School All-State Band and the CMU High School Honor Band and is proud to perform Glazounov’s Concerto en mi Bémol with the ROSO.

Madeline Cha

Madeline lives in Midland, Michigan, and is in 8th grade at Jefferson Middle School. She is currently studying violin with Sunmi Chang. She made her debut in Weill Recital Hall in New York in 2018. Shortly afterward, she received an honorable mention in the Walgreens National Concerto Competition. Madeline was also named the state winner for the competition held by the Music Teacher's National Association, one in 2018 and again in 2019. She performed at the winner's recital at the Michigan Music Teachers Association Conference last fall and was nominated as one of the finalists of the Ann Arbor Symphony Young Artist Competition. 

Over the past two summers, Madeline has attended the Bowdoin International Music Festival in Brunswick, Maine, and the Liberec International Violin Academy in the Czech Republic. During her time at the University of Michigan String Prep Academy, she performed in masterclasses for Danielle Belen and David Halen.
